Jazmine (Jaz) Mandujano (Research assistant 2016-2019). 

Perla Ramos Caranza (Research Assistant 2016-2017; Staff Research Associate 2017-2018) received her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Human Development from UC Davis in 2017. She is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Education at UC Irvine studying educational outcomes of children in underserved communities, with a particular interest in the Latino community. 

Dr. Jennifer Taylor (Graduate Student, 2013-2018) received her PhD in Nutritional Biology in 2018. She currently works at Kaiser Permanente's Care Management Institute, addressing social determinants of health and the measurement of health and well-being. Beginning in September, Dr. Taylor will be a postdoctoral scholar at UC San Diego. Working with Dr. Eric Hekler, Director of the Center for Wireless & Population Health Systems and Michèle Morris, Associate Director of The Design Lab, her position will focus on advancing methods for human-centered design and agile science.

Michelle Lopez (Research Assistant, 2017-2018) received her B.A. in Chicano/a Studies and minor in Human Development and Education in 2018. She is currently looking for jobs in the public health field.

Amunique (Ty) Brownridge (Research Assistant, 2017-2018) received her B.S in Human Development and Psychology in 2018. Ty is currently looking for jobs related to research in developmental psychology while simultaneously applying to graduate school.

Dr. Carolyn Sutter (Graduate Student, 2010-2017) received her PhD in Human Development in 2017 and is now working as a postdoctoral research associate for the Family Resiliency Center at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

Esther Ebuehi (Lead Research Assistant, 2014-2017) received a B.S. in both Human Development and Psychology in 2017. Esther currently works as a clinic coordinator at CommuniCare Health Centers.

Debadrita (Deb) Mondal (Lead Research Assistant, 2014-2016) received a B.S in Exercise Biology in 2016. Deb is currently working as a home health aid for elderly individuals in the Bay Area and is planning to apply to nursing school. 

Gregory Lum (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition in 2015.  Gregory hopes to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. He may also pursue a Master’s in Public Health so as to better collaborate with communities in preventing disease and encouraging healthy eating.

Daniel Weisz (Research Assistant, 2016) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. 

Rachel Evtuch (Research Asistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Nutrition Science in 2016. She is currently an AmeriCorps Instructor for  Food Literacy Center, which is a nonprofit that serves in the Sacramento area to teach underserved elementary school students to love eating their veggies in after-school cooking classes.

Mariam Hameed (Research Assistant, 2014-2016) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. Mariam works as a fitness instructor and is also applying for social science research assistant jobs. She plans to attend graduate school in the future.

Taylor King (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Human Development and minor in Community Nutrition in 2016. She is currently at a Masters of Public Health program at Colorado School of Public Health. Her career goals include working towards childhood obesity prevention with community based interventions.  

Kellie Sapad (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. She is currently working as a Behavioral Aide Technician for the Tulare County Office of Education.

Erika Hapa (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. Currently, Erika is completing a year of service with an AmeriCorps program, City Year, where she is tutoring and mentoring students in a low-income area of Sacramento. She hopes to eventually attend graduate school to receive a Masters in Public Health and pursue a career within the health system or a non-profit organization.

Yan Hua (Eva) Li (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition in 2016. Currently, Eva works at Leah’s Pantry in San Francisco leading nutrition education and cooking demonstration classes. She hopes to begin a credential program to become a dietitian in the next two years. 

Eva Prado (Research Assistant, 2015-2016) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. Currently, Eva is working as an EMT and lead field training officer at NORCAL ambulance company. In the future, she hopes to achieve a dual Masters in Public Health (epidemiology)and Physician Assistant studies.  She hopes to continue conducting research as an epidemiologist and wants to work as a Physician Assistant in small community urgent cares and clinics.

Katrina Habroun (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition in 2015. She currently works as a scribe and a guest services representative at two local hospitals.

Kuai (Queenie) Leong (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2015. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in childhood education at New York University. 

Diana Luu (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2015. Diana works as a program coordinator for Charity Cultural Services Center in the Bay Area and hopes to pursue a career in either social work or public health/administration.

Daniel Vice (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2014. He is currently a graduate student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and is working in a surgical intensive care unit. He plans to continue working in critical care after graduating and hopes to become an anesthetist thereafter.

Mimi Giese ( Research Assistant, 2015) received a B.S. in Human Development and minor in Spanish in 2015. After graduation, she earned her Masters in Education and teaching credential at the University of the Pacific and currently teaches K/1 in downtown Stockton.

Juliana Leddy (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2015. Juliana is working towards her multiple subject teaching credential and masters degree in education at UC Davis.

Erin Glasspool (Research Assistant, 2014-2015) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2016. Currently, Erin is taking prerequisites for nursing school at Foothill Junior College. She hopes to pursue a career in nursing and potentially radiology in the future.

Patricia Kamlley (Research Assistant, 2013-2014) received a B.S. in Human Development in 2014. Currently, Patricia is applying for occupational therapy schools while working as an ABA therapist.

Cindy Zhang (Research Assistant, 2013-2014) received a B.S. in Human Development and minor in psychology in 2014. Cindy is in the process of applying for Masters/Doctorate programs in Occupational Therapy, while currently working as a YMCA Program Leader.
